A
Brief History
Citizens'
Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead
(CSFM) was founded in 1987 by a group
of citizens and educators who, due
to the increasing demand for undergraduate
education and escalating costs, recognized
the need to raise scholarship funds
to help deserving Marblehead students
further their education.
Since 1988, Marblehead residents and
friends have made it possible for
the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation
to award 1075 individual scholarships
to students, totaling over $2,347,000
and to build the endowment fund to
$1,540,964.
