Apply for a Scholarship

Who is eligible?

  • All Marblehead residents and/or Marblehead High School graduates are eligible to apply for CSFM scholarships to two- and four-year colleges and other post high school programs.
  • College students can apply for aid during each of their undergraduate years.
  • Adults are eligible to apply for continuing education scholarships to aid in the completion of their undergraduate education or for critical job-related training.

Financial need is the primary criterion for a CSFM scholarship. However, other factors such as academic record, extra curricular activities, community service and work experience are also important factors taken into consideration. An Awards Committee, made up of CSFM board members carefully reviews every application.

Download and/or view the applications forms required by the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead to complete the application process.
The downloadable forms are in PDF format. You need the latest version of Adobe Reader to read and download these forms. Click on the icon below to get the FREE download version.

The required forms and supporting documents (see the applications) must be complete and received by the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead prior to:

Monday, April 2, 2012 - HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS.

Friday, June 1, 2012 - ADVANCED STANDING STUDENTS (Sophomore, Junior and Senior years) and Continuing Education Students.

At this time the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead is not accepting any applications from Graduate Students.

The above applications are also available at the Marblehead High School Guidance Office. Links to the FAFSA and CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE forms are provided below for your convenience. You have probably already filled these out as part of your college application process. In that case you do not need to fill these forms out again.

See the instructions above to determine which documents are required for your particular situation. If you have any questions concerning the applications, please call Thomas Depres (781) 631-8158. Note: If you are applying to a college which does not offer any financial aid and therefore does not require that you file a FAFSA, then please do file a FAFSA for CSFM.
