ABOUT US
to the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead

Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead (CSFM) is a charitable foundation that provides financial aid to residents of the Town of Marblehead and students of Marblehead High School solely based on financial need.

A citizen supported charitable foundation, CSFM has an elected board of directors who oversee fundraising efforts, the awarding of scholarships and the management of the endowment.

CSFM is one of over 1,200 affliate chapters of Dollars for Scholars, a program of Scholarship America, the largest provider of scholarships throughout the United States.

A Brief History
Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Marblehead (CSFM) was founded in 1987 by a group of citizens and educators who, due to the increasing demand for undergraduate education and escalating costs, recognized the need to raise scholarship funds to help deserving Marblehead students further their education.

Since 1988, Marblehead residents and friends have made it possible for the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation to award 1075 individual scholarships to students, totaling over $2,347,000 and to build the endowment fund to $1,540,964.
